On 23rd of January 2019 the semi-annual information meeting on high-level government advice in Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Georgia was held at the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi).
Among other topics, Robert Kirchner reported on Ukraine’s reform proposals for improving the investment climate, which were prepared in cooperation with the AHK Ukraine and German companies, and were received with high interest during personal presentation to the Prime Minister Groisman in Kiev. Ricardo Giucci held the report on the current situation in Georgia after the presidential elections. Woldemar Walter and Dmitry Chervyakov also gave an overview on the economic situation in Moldova and Belarus. During the discussions, that followed the presentations, advisors answered numerous in-depth questions.
At the end of the event, Yildiz Götze and Ricardo Giucci announced the launch of economic policy advice in Uzbekistan and looked back on their first trips to Tashkent, which have already resulted in numerous requests from the Uzbek government for current reform projects.
