Rouven Stubbe

Consultant

Rouven Stubbe is an energy economist and joined the Energy and Climate Policy team at Berlin Economics in 2021, becoming a consultant in January 2022.
His expertise lies in the area of techno-economic electricity and heat system modelling, integration of renewable energies, sector coupling, CO2 pricing, energy market reforms, hydrogen, as well as cross-sectoral decarbonisation strategies.

After an interdisciplinary Bachelor’s degree with concentrations in Political Science, Economics and Middle Eastern Studies at Sciences Po Paris and studying abroad at UC Berkeley, he completed a Master’s degree in Economics with a focus on Environmental and Energy Economics at Toulouse School of Economics.
Rouven Stubbe’s work benefits from his experience at the Forum Ökologisch-Soziale Marktwirtschaft (Green Budget Germany), a political risk consultancy, as well as the International Monetary Affairs Division of the German Central Bank. Rouven Stubbe is an alumnus of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.
