Rouven Stubbe


Rouven Stubbe has been working for Berlin Economics since 2021 as an analyst in the project “Advising Ukrainian decision-makers on low-emission policy paths”, funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), as well as on other projects related to energy policy, since February 2022 as consultant.


After an interdisciplinary bachelor’s degree with a focus on political science, economics and Middle East studies at Sciences Po Paris and a study visit to UC Berkeley, he completed a master’s degree in economics with a focus on environmental and energy economics at the Toulouse School of Economics.

He focused on applied econometrics, energy markets, agricultural economics and the pricing of non-tradable goods.

Rouven Stubbe’s work benefits from his experience at the Forum Ökologisch-Soziale Marktwirtschaft, a political risk consultancy, as well as in the International Monetary Policy Department of the Deutsche Bundesbank. Rouven Stubbe is an alumnus of the German National Academic Foundation.
