Preparation of energy policy information for Western Balkan countries

The aim of the project is to support dena, the German Energy Agency, by analysing, evaluating and processing current energy policy information in the target countries of the Western Balkans, i.e. Albania, North Macedonia, Bosnia und
Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, as well as Serbia.

The project’s target is to promote the transformation towards renewable forms of energy, as well as to foster and implement energy efficiency measures. Berlin Economics supports the dena in its overall aim in providing basis information on the target countries’ energy systems, as well as monitoring political debates and developments with regard to energy policy in the countries in question.
