Berlin Economics at Café Kyiv 2026
Berlin Economics looks back on the fourth edition of Café Kyiv. As we enter the fifth year of the war, it remains important to maintain and further strengthen German support for Ukraine. This was emphasised by Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz in his opening speech at the event.
Berlin Economics and the German Economic Team had the honour of co-organising two panels at this year’s Café Kyiv edition. Our experts Garry Poluschkin and Robert Kirchner shed light on the challenging economic environment, the aim is to secure economic stability, advance reforms and strengthen the foundations for sustainable reconstruction and European integration.
