Daniel Sosa Marquina
Analyst
Daniel Sosa works as an analyst in the Energy and Climate Policy team at Berlin Economics since October 2023. His regional focus is Kosovo, Armenia, and Georgia.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a double M.Sc. in Energy Economics and Business Administration from the University of Leipzig and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). His master’s thesis examined innovative climate finance mechanisms for the Global South.
Prior to joining Berlin Economics, he gained experience in the energy sector, both in business development at Vattenfall and in strategy consulting at Ernst & Young and Thema Consulting.
