Professor Stefan Ulreich

Professor of Energy Economics, Biberbach University of Applied Sciences

Stefan Ulreich is professor of Energy Economics at Biberach University of Applied Sciences. Previously, he was working for E. ON for many years, where he was advising the Board as a senior expert.

After his studies, he earned a PhD in physics at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. His research interests focus on energy trading, energy policy and digitalisation.

Since December 2020, he has supported the activities of Berlin Economics with advisory in energy policy. In this field, Stefan Ulreich was lecturer at the training “EU energy law for Ukrainian policy makers”, jointly organised by Berlin Economics and the NGO DiXi Group. In this training, decision makers from the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministry, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Agriculture, the Ministry for Regional Development, the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Environment, from the Verkhovna Rada and further institutions took part.
