Veronika Movchan

Veronika Movchan is Academic Director at the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Her main research interests are in trade policy, including WTO-related issues, regional integration, non-tariff measures, quantification of trade policy instruments, and modelling of policy changes.
She regularly supports the German Economic Team with her expertise on trade and regional integration.
Mrs. Movchan holds an MA in Economics from the National University Kyiv, Ukraine. Before joining the IER, she worked at the World Bank Resident Mission in Kyiv and the Harvard Institute for International Development, Ukraine. She was also a research fellow at Stanford University, USA, and a visiting researcher at the DIW-Berlin, Germany.
