The prospects of Russian-Ukrainian relations

The conflict between Russia and Ukraine is at the centre of global interest. In addition to proposals for immediate conflict resolution, medium- and longer-term perspectives for the relations between the two countries are also necessary.

Against this background, the foreign and security policy think tank “Ukrainian Prism” and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Ukraine conducted an expert survey, in which Garry Poluschkin from Berlin Economics was among the respondents, on the status and perspectives of bilateral relations. Participants from Ukraine, Russia and Germany were asked about their assessment of the short-, medium- and long-term development of Russian-Ukrainian relations, as well as about the possible integration of Ukraine into EU structures.
