Sectoral development strategy for electrified public transport manufacturing in Ukraine

On behalf of the European Climate Foundation, Berlin Economics identifies the most viable pathways and policies for developing and scaling Ukraine’s electrified public transport manufacturing and deployment capacities, while ensuring economic growth, technological readiness, and environmental sustainability.

The study involves mapping and assessing the current Ukrainian public transport manufacturing sector as well as the potential of transforming existing ICE production and scaling up electric solutions. The study will also identify opportunities and key barriers related to manufacturing and deployment of electricfied public transport technologies in Ukraine and bring forth strategic policy recommendations, includng financial estimations and investment needs.
