Development of a decarbonization roadmap for a selected cement installation in Ukraine

On behalf of GIZ, Berlin Economics develops a structured and forward-looking decarbonization roadmap for Ukraine’s cement sector selected installation, based on a static techno-economic assessment of the financial cost of a preselected installation.
We evaluate viable decarbonization options – such as process upgrades and fuel switching – and estimate the associated investment needed to close the gap with EU ETS benchmark emissions levels.
